Facebook is a part of almost everyone's daily routine, right? :D&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition, I've started a VEGETABLE LASAGNA special :D incorporated with the idea of the one-day notification period where you place your orders today and get it the day after :D this will run right up to the next Sunday which is the 4th of July 2010! I can't seem to find hours during the am to update the blog, facebook or PPTLasagna's twitter :O At times you just wonder where all your 24 hours in a day flies away to.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I believe all of you know (well, if you don't I'm going to let you know :P ), I'm a student. And as a student I have obligations as a student as well. Classes, homework, assignments, presentations and all those other stuff. On the other hand, I'm managing &lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 102); font-style: italic;"&gt;pleasepassthelasagna&lt;/span&gt;, which I love ever so dearly along with everyone who has helped in making it as it is today. I've been thinking this over since my schedule for this semester has been sorted out and it wasn't an easy task to make it go as I wanted it to. I find it easier to text msg and speak in malay than type. Since I'm in the holiday mood, being in the holidays and all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All of you may know that a 3-day notification is needed to place orders. So starting tomorrow up to early January, specifically the first week of January, &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;I'm cutting the 3-day order shorter&lt;/span&gt; :D Instead of the 72-hour notice that I need, all I require is a 24hour notice!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Say you need an order lasagna for a Thursday morning/afternoon, then just make your order a day before which is.. Wednesday morning! Sounds alright, kan? There are exceptions pulang, kalau kamu contact aku time malam macam time pukul 8, midnight to subuh2, and order atu utk paginya.. I can't accept that. Just remember, &lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;24 hours&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other conditions still apply though and contact me via sms or e-mail. It's no fun eating those frozen meatballs from the frozen food section and once they're cooked you don't taste the meat. Instead, there's a flour-ish taste to it. Or perhaps it's just me?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To combat my dissatisfaction with frozen meatballs, I made my own. This was the meal that I was planning to add on into the food menu for the longest amount of time and yet never got around to making it. So here I bring good news and bad news.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bad news is I lost my phone along with its line for a few days so I didn't get to meet some demands or contact those who made orders. On the personal side of bad news, all of my contact numbers were there so that was like losing a thumb. However, my phone's back now. Yay! Good thing is, it saved me a trip and a few dollars to get a sim card and even more money to buy out a new phone in order not to lose any credibility.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a &lt;a href="http://twitter.com/PPTLasagna"&gt;twitter account&lt;/a&gt; now. So I've been updating there. No followers as of now haha Sadly, it's the truth that my blog isn't so popular. I haven't updated the blog for almost a month, neglected more like it. Uni's been tiring, going home late, thinking about my pending assignments, the weather.. have any of you noticed the weather? PANAS! I feel that my skin giving up on me. haha nvm that. Onto lasagna matters :D&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sadly, the month of Syawal has ended so that ends the potato salad promotion. I'm still taking orders for the foodstuff though my exams are coming up (eep!) and just to let you all know, I &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;will not&lt;/span&gt; be taking orders during my exams. Sighs. Lasagna noodles are &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;always&lt;/span&gt; used and no other substitute pasta (such as macaroni) is used. In relation to today's title, well.. I'd like to talk about that. Since it's Ramadhan and all where eating, drinking and whatever wordly temptations we have are strictly prohibited during the period &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;after sahur&lt;/span&gt; and &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;before sungkai&lt;/span&gt;, orders for lasagnas cannot be consumed right away.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here's the thing, I'm used to passing the orders for lunch and they get eaten while they are still warm. Can't do that for this month. So I'll definitely need some cooperation from the customers if they would like warm food ;) or request for your orders to be frozen so you may bake them closer to sahur or closer to sungkai.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;center&gt;&lt;a href="http://s928.photobucket.com/albums/ad129/nanalasagna/?action=view&amp;amp;current=pre-baked.jpg" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;img style="width: 621px; height: 273px;" src="http://i928.photobucket.com/albums/ad129/nanalasagna/pre-baked.jpg" alt="Photobucket" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/center&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It bugs me that people have to re-heat the food that they get, I'm not completely sure why. But maybeeeee.... it has something to do with this&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;incident I heard from a close friend who orders from me. I'm not sure how valid or how much truth there is to this since ianya heard it from another customer. That pretty much makes it 3rd hand info (I think).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, here it is. I sell my 5.5" by 4.5" lasagnas in aluminium pans which allows re-heating. I don't specifically mention &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;how&lt;/span&gt; they should be re-heated but from the story I heard, the lasagna was re-heated in a pan of boiling water left to float (shouldn't it sink? haha inda ku tau eyh. I never tried.) with its lid on (baik jua with the lid on) but unfortunately water managed to seep in and it resulted in a warm yet soggy, &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;soggy&lt;/span&gt; lasagna. It never actually crossed my mind to do that.. It feels peaceful, we tend to worry less. And maybe it's also because of the fact that when my tummy rumbles in class (or in the general public), people understand and don't laugh. hehe. yeah, that's definitely one reason for me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The FSC food sale is already done. Well, as of Thursday the 20th to be specific. I believe my sales were okay, with the exception of the last day where I had &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;one sad sad&lt;/span&gt; lasagna left and a slight bump along the way :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On a personal note, it was a relatively interesting day for me. Obviously eventful, sorta like one of those things in those fictional stories where one bad thing after another occurs. You know, the path that links FASS to FBEPS. At least I think that is what it is called). So I took and I still am taking the opportunity to sell a small number of my lasagnas there :D I might as well take the chance to sell at least the lasagnas since the food sale is opened to all FBEPS students. I take my minor in FBEPS, so technically..I guess I'm considered a FBEPS student(?).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Usual customers (which reminds me, I don't think they know I have this blog. hmm.) may notice the increase in the price of my lasagnas ($1 increase to be specific). This is only momentary. For a good reason, a very good reason, which is:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;span style="line-height: 115%;font-family:&amp;quot;;font-size:130%;"  &gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;"to collect funds for FSC, as a financial aid to organize future events for the faculty. For the remaining two days, which is tomorrow and Thursday, its price will still be $4. I'll update it over time once new questions come about. For now, these are the questions I usually get asked:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why does it take THREE DAYS to get your lasagna? Why not the same day?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;: As much as I'd love to make the lasagnas on the day you make your order, sadly enough, I'm unable to. I need the days to check the availability of my ingredients, make sure there are no clashes in time between orders and that the (beef) sauce gets enough time to cook itself. I cook the (beef) sauce overnight ;) so I definitely need the time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So the food I eat is basically a day old?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;: No. haha funny. The (beef) sauce is left to cook overnight in a slow cooker and the food is assembled the day the order is required. You are most likely to receive your orders warm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why don't you offer delivery services to your customers?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;: I'm terrible with directions, even when complete addresses are given to me. I don't want to risk anything.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What's in the lasagna? How about the ingredients? I want to know your secret.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;:Well, there's beef, tomato puree and some spices.  Lasagna sheets obviously. All ingredients are halal.
